The Contractor continued with electrical works installations in North and South Toll Plaza buildings but at a very slow pace. The earthing grid was installed at S/S#3 ventilation adit connection. These are the only site works under this contract at this time while waiting to install the earthing grid in EP2. The majority of work at site is the preparation and submittal of manufacturer's materials and installation shop drawings.

PKIII continues to participate in the hand over of sections of walkways in the tunnel from the civil contractors. The hand over allows PKIII (and PKIV) access to install conduit in the trench under the walkways. This conduit work is scheduled to start 2 January, 2004.

Coordination is still ongoing between PKIII and PKIV for space, ventilation and cableway requirements at substations in the Electrostatic Precipitator areas (S/S 1, 2 and 4) and at the Ventilation Adit Building (S/S 6), S/S 3 at adit fresh air discharge near tunnel. Generally most significant issues have been resolved between PKIII and PKIV in those areas. However the size of UPS battery rooms has been resolved with agreement on battery standby function requirements. PKIII had still not submitted final S/S # 5, reflecting the Engineer's review comments, at months end. These comments related to cable trench locations and clearances around/behind equipment
