Summary from Contractor

Most of construction work was finished and taking-over celebration was held on 4 January 2005 to hand-over to Hamadeco. However, there are some minor works must be carried out to complete such as:

• Asphalt concrete pockmarked surface at sta.1+480 and spans No.19 and No.20 of Lang Co Bridge must be repaired. Crackers on asphalt surface at some location including intersection area and some broken curb must be repaired as Engineer’s instruction.

• Top of abutments A1 and A2 must be cleaned, especially crackers on head wall of A1 must be filled.

• Retaining steel bars on parapet surface must be cleaned.

• Casting girder yard No.1 must be cleaned and gained checking minutes for clearance from local administration.

• Cement mortar tracks on asphalt surface of Lang Co Bridge and road must be cleaned, including road surface around intersection island.

• Surface of pavement near the man-hole at intersection island must be re-shaped to enable storm water smoothly led to the man-hole

• Surface of intersection island must be grown grass and plaque must be completed on this island and change installed PVC doors of storages at garage to steel doors

• Crackers on asphalt road surface in connection with concrete road (in front of toll plaza), which are being repaired, must be checked.

• The Contractor must provide a gate at entrance of North toll plaza and supply water system for this toll plaza  and change installed PVC doors of storages at garage to steel doors

• Bridge name plaque must be installed

• Toll boots, which were reinforced but unclosed, must be repaired

• Overhigh wood board must be installed beneath of overhigh barrier truss

• Reflectable studs must be installed around intersection island, the contractor PK2A are requested to submit drawings to Engineer for approval before carry out.

• Km post and right of way post must be installed, the contractor PK2A are requested to submit drawings to Engineer for approval before carry out.

• Broken drainage pipes of backfill abutment and cracked positions in mortar riprap must be filled by mortar.

• Broken ditches and road surface of NH1 near P19, which was cracked during construction of P19, must be repaired and gained taking over minutes of RRMU4.

• The contractor PK2A must install office equipments in Toll Plaza Building. Temporary electric must be installed to test during installation.

• The Contractor PK2A are requested to submit structure stability calculation sheet of toll plaza to Engineer for revision and final approval.
