  • Scope of Works

The construction works comprising the Package-IB: South Tunnel Section shall include: (Sta. 5+500.000 to Sta. 8+125.000)

(a) An approximately 2,417 meters long 2-lane main tunnel with 73.26m2 cross-section (Sta. 5+500.000 to Sta. 7+917.000);

(b) An approximately 2,429 meters long evacuation tunnel with 15.47m2 cross-section, parallel to the main tunnel;

(c) Two 19.65 meters long vehicular cross-passageways with 15.47m2 cross-section, and four pedestrian cross-passageways (two 21.65m long plus two 19.65 meter long) with 8.12m2 cross-section;

(d) A 153 meters long (main tunnel center-to-center) by-pass type electrostatic precipitator tunnels (south) with 57.69m2 cross-section;

(e) A 208 meters 2-lane tunnel approach (Sta. 7+917.000 - Sta. 8+125.000);

(f) An approximately 817 meters long access road to high water reservoir;

(g) A 1,400m2, one-story, vehicular maintenance building;

(h) A 58.45 meters long, 2-lane, 2-span (25.08m and 33.37m) post-tensioned girder bridge (Sta. 8+044.275 - Sta. 8+102.725); and

(i) A south tunnel portal plaza.
