Summary from Contractor

Bridge No.2: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All spans of launching and 9 spans of deck slab were completed. Total activities completion was 96%. Progress of construction will be finished at 14th January 2004.

Bridge No.3: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. Launching work was finished. Diaphragm work was finished. Total activities completion was 80%. Progress of construction will be finished at date end of December 2003.

Bridge No.4: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All launching work and deck slabs were completed and remaining expansion joints. Total activities completion was 98%. Progress of construction will be finished at date end of December 2003.

Bridge No.5: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All spans of launching and all spans of deck slab were completed. Total activities completion was 97%. Progress of construction will be finished at date end of December 2003.

Bridge No.6: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All spans of launching and 4 spans of diaphram were completed. 3 spans deck slap were completed. Total activities completion was 82%. Progress of construction will be finished at 30th January 2004.

Bridge No.7: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All launching work and all spans of deck slap were completed. Total activities completion was 97%. Progress of construction will be finished at 23nd January 2004.

Construction Supervision by Engineer

Bridge No.2

Substructure

North abutment was completed of concrete works. Pier No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, were completed of concrete works up to cross head. South abutment has been completed of concrete works.

Superstructure

Span 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 were finished slab concrete and span 10 were finished the launching.

Girder Production

50 nos. of 50 girder was finished production.

Bridge No.3

North Abutment, South Abutment was completed of concrete works. 5 nos. of 5 girder weres finished production. 1 span was finished launching. 1 span of diaphragm was completed of concrete works.

Bridge No.4

Substructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All launching work and deck slabs were completed and remaining expansion joint.

Bridge No.5

Substructure

All sub-structure were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

4 spans were finished the launching. 4 spans of deck slap were completed.

Girder Production

20 nos. of 20 girders is finished production.

Bridge No.6

Substructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

5 spans were finished the launching. 5 spans of diaphragm were completed for concrete work. 3 spans of deck slap were completed.

Girder Production

25 no. of 25 girders were finished the production at girder production yard.

Bridge No.7

Substructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

: 4 Spans was finished the launching. Diaphram of spans 1,2,3,4 were completed. 4 pans of deck slap were completed for concrete work.

Girder Production

All of girder 20 nos. were finished the production

Road Works

Clearing and grubbing:

All clearing and grubbing area were completed

Earthworks

Excavation work was under construction and 651,408 m3 of 659,000m3 has completed. Embankment work was under constructing and 120,895 m3 of 121,218 m3 was completed. Percent completion of excavation 98.8% and embankment 99.7% respectively. Generally, excavation work ws late. The Contractor should be speed-up of work progress. Embankment work was carried out at KM8+125 - KM8+195. Excavation work was carried out at KM8+580 to KM8+815, KM11+440 to KM11+840, Km10+250 to Km10+480, Km10+643 to Km11+00.

Pavement:

Production of aggregate subbase was at yard. Subbase work was finished in this month follows:

Subbase course layer 2 were finished at Km8+900 to Km9+397.

Subbase course layers 3 were finished at Km9+572.25 to Km9+680 and Km9+814.35 to Km10+083. Completed aggregate subbase quantity was about 62.06%.

Retainning:

Retaining wall at the back of southern abutment bridge No3 and southern abutment bridge No4 were completed 100%.

Retaining wall at the black of southerm abutment bridge No2 was carried out foundation excavation.

Culvert work:

1. Box culvert at KM9+115 concrete work was completed.

2. Under pass at KM11+260 was completed.

3. Pipe culvert at KM11+050 was completed.

4. Pipe culvert at KM11+290 was completed.

5. Pipe culvert at KM11+660 was not started yet.
