Summary from Contractor

Bridge No.2: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. 50 nos. of girders were finished the production. 9 spans of launching and 9 spans of deck slab were completed. Total activities completion was 95%. Progress of construction will be finished by the end of December 2003.

Bridge No.3: South Abutment and North Abutment were completed the concrete works. 5 nos. of 5 girder were finished the production. Launching work was completed. Total activities completion was 70%. Progress of construction will be finished by the end of November 2003.

Bridge No.4: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All launching work and deck slabs were completed and expansion joints remained. Total activities completion was 98%. Progress of construction will be finished by the end of November 2003.

Bridge No.5: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. 20 nos. of PCI girders were finished the production. 4 spans of launching and 4 spans of deck slab were completed. Total activities completion was 90%. Progress of construction will be finished by the end of December 2003.

Bridge No.6: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. 25 nos. of 25 girders were finished the production. 5 spans of launching and 4 spans of diaphram were completed. 1 span deck slap were completed. Total activities completion was 74%. Total progress was 30 days behind from the expected finishing date end of December 2003.

Bridge No.7: All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. 20 nos. of PCI girders were finished the production. All launching work and 3 spans of deck slap were completed. Total activities completion was 84%. Progress of construction will be finished by the end of December 2003.

Bridge No.2

Substructure

North abutment was completed of concrete works. Pier No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 were completed of concrete works up to cross head. South abutment was completed of concrete works.

Superstructure

Span 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 were finished the slab concrete and span 9 was finished the launching.

Girder Production

50 nos. of 50 girder was finished production.

Bridge No.3

North Abutment, South Abutment were completed of concrete works. 5 nos. of 5 girder was finished production. 1 span was finished the launching.

Bridge No.4

Substructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work. All launching work and deck slabs were completed and remaining expansion joint.

Bridge No.5

Substructure

All sub-structure were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

All Spans were finished launching. Diaphram of all spans  were completed. 4 spans of deck slab were completed.

Girder Production

20 nos. of 20 girders is finished production.

Bridge No.6

Substructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

All spans were finished the launching. Diaphram of spans 1,2,3,4 were completed for concrete work. Span 1 of deck slap was completed.

Girder Production

25 no. of 25 girders were finished the production at girder production yard.

Substructure

All sub-structures were completed for concrete work.

Superstructure

All Spans were finished launching. Diaphram of spans 2,3,4 were completed. 3 pans of deck slap were completed for concrete work

Girder Production

All of girder 20 nos. were finished the production

Road Works

Clearing and grubbing:

All clearing and grubbing area were completed

Earthworks

Excavation work was under construction and 630,836 m3 of 659,000m3 was completed. Embankment work was under constructing and 120,819 m3 of 121,218 m3 completed. Percent completion of excavation was 95.7% and embankment 99.7%. Generally, excavation work was late. The Contractor should be speed-up of work progress. Embankment work was being carried out at KM8+125 - KM8+195.

Excavation work was being carried out at KM8+580 to KM8+815, KM11+440 to KM12+00

Pavement:

Retainning:

Retaining wall at the back of southern abutment bridge No3 and southern abutment bridge No4 was completed 100%. Retaining wall at the black of southerm abutment bridge No2 was carried out foundation excavation.

Culvert work:

1. Box culvert at KM9+115 concrete work was completed.

2. Under pass at KM11+260 was completed.

3. Pipe culvert at KM11+050 was completed.

4. Pipe culvert at KM11+290 was completed.

5. Pipe culvert at KM11+660 was not started yet.
