Construction Supervision

Summary

Main Tunnel top heading and Evacuation tunnel to contract limit @ 5+500 is complete (100%).  PKIB continue excavation beyond Sta. 5+500 as subcontractor to PKIA contractor.

During the reporting period 110.7m of Evacuation Tunnel and 115.9m of Main Tunnel Top Heading was excavated, giving a total length of 2680.9m of Evacuation Tunnel and 2781.5m of Main Tunnel Top Heading excavated to date.

Bench excavation continued with 32.6m excavated on the East Side.

Tunnel lining continued with 210.7m of main tunnel, 12.4m of layby completed.

Work continued on Electrostatic Precipitator No. 3, the centre drain, earthing and aggregate base course were completed.

Main Tunnel

A total of 115.9m of Main Tunnel Top Heading was excavated over the reporting period, giving a total length of 2781.5m of Main Tunnel Top Heading excavated to date.
