Construction Supervision In the substation building the priority is on the activities that have to be completed before the installation of the electrical equipment can commence. Although the focus has been on the rooms that will accommodate electrical equipment, there has also been progress in other areas. During the last month the brick work in the building has been practically completed. Most of the walls inside the building have been rendered and plastered. All electrical conduits have been installed. The concrete floor in all rooms have been completed as well as the concrete work for the stairs on the east side and from second floor to roof. Further the roof slab on level 11.6 m has been poured and the canopies above main transformer doors have been made. Regarding building facility, 2-ton crane installation was completed and got the certificate of government. And manufacturer training will be held when the operator was charged. The ducting work of Air-conditioning and Ventilation System has been commenced and equipments were ordered. 110kV Cable and 24kV Cable have been on site and inspected by Electrical Engineer. The foundation work for the 110 kV Transmission Line towers have continued. The foundations for five towers have been completed. The fabrication of the towers has started.
