Project schedule has already past 22 months and remaining 08 months now. Percent completion is ~ 62% based on the activity completion (Including: ~ 46% of Bridge work and ~ 16% of Road and general requirement work). Bored Piling Total 218 nos. of bored piles with different diameter are required for foundation. 199 nos. of bored piles has completed and remaining 19 nos. Percent completion of bored piling is 91%. Foundation of Piers: P1, P3 and North Abutment A1 is under construction of piling work and 2 foundations such as, P2, P4 remaining piling work. Substructure 2 abutments and 25 piers are required for Lang Co Bridge. 15 piers and 1 abutment have completed up to cross head such as P7, P8, P9, P9, P11, P14, P17, P18, P19, P20, P21, P22, P23, P24, P25 and South Abutment. 4 piers are under construction of structure work such as P6, P13, P15, P16. Including P16 is finished pier Base. Sheet piles for pit excavation of P6, P13 and P15 are driving now. P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P12 and A1 are not active not completely. Superstructure Preparation of launching at south abutment has just commenced on 10 February 2003. Launching of Span26, 25, 24, 23 and 22 are completed. Concrete of Diaphragm of span 26, 25 and 24 are completed too. Reinforcing for Deck slab of span 26, 25 and 24 are preparing now. Approach Road North approach road has completed for surcharge fill and South approach road is finished embankment. Girder Production Total 130 nos. of PCI girders are required production. 2 places of girder production yard are under operation and 60 nos. of PCI girders has completed production.
