110/22 kV Substation Foundation works is under construction. Power transformers already manufactured and tested.
110 kV Transmission Line Survey finished. Design for tower & foundation is on progress.

Construction Supervision

The report of 110kV overhead transmission line geological survey has been completed. The design for tower and foundation of overhead transmission line is under preparation.

Two power transformers 110/22kV 10KVA were manufactured and successfully routine factory tested on July 15 and 16, 2002.

The technical documents and quotation for connecting plan of 110/22kV substation to EVN power network has been submitted.

The design of substation and tunnel control building has been completed and the construction of building foundation pillars is proceeding.

The co-ordination meeting with Contractor of Package V were held from July 29 to August 3, 2002.

Physical Progress in this month

- Final setting out of pillar foundations

- Lean concrete for foundation pillars

- Concrete mix design for class C concrete

- Reinforced steel bars tested and witnessed by the Engineer

- Rebar cages fabricated

- 2x20 MVA Power transformer manufacturing complete and routine factory tested.

Activities for Coming Months

Permanent Works

- Finalize the foundation pillars

- Install the deep earth electrodes and pillar riser electrodes.

- Backfill the foundation base to the level for base of cable trenches.

- Installation of sub-foundation earthing grid.
