Construction Supervision

The Contractor prepared the construction works as follows:

- Executing a field study of high level reservoir, drill shaft site, water intake and water pipeline for the pump room.

- Making shop drawings for the ventilation equipment.

- Preparation of the mobilization and site establishment.

- Study the scope of works and general conditions for the subcontractors.

The Contractor also prepared the following documents during the reported month and these documents would be submitted in the beginning of August, 2002:

- Mobilization Program

- Staff Organization Plan

- Submittal Resister

- Quality Control Plan

- Environmental Control & Protection Program

- Safety Plan

  • Construction schedule for Coming Month

Permanent work schedule

- Prepare some technical information required during the coordination meetings held between Jul 29 and Aug. 2.

- Study the modification of the existing water supply and water treatment system.

- Review the BOQ Pay Items for the water related facilities and fire hydrant in comparison with the relevant drawings.

- Make shop drawings for the ventilation equipment.

- Prepare the mobilization and site establishment.

- Negotiate with Vietnamese Sub-contractor on scope of works and general conditions.

- Prepare details and schedule of O & M training.

Temporary Work

- Apply for VAT code to Danang Tax Office

- Make up a Master List for the equipment to be imported to Vietnam.
