Summary from Contractor

Main Tunnel and Evacuation Tunnel excavation was completely finished. Bench excavation and tunnel lining were completed. The rear concrete works is ongoing.

Construction for cut and cover section continued.

Electric system

At present, They had handed-over electric system of South tunnel portal plaza on 09/07/2004.

Water system

Until now, They have completed all Drainage manhole, West surface ditch

At present, They are continuing to construct the pipe system, leach field (Type A, B), East surface ditch

Concrete pavement East side: 1161 (ml).Total 2423/2423(ml) and completed.

Concrete pavement West side: 1320 (ml).Total 1320/2423(ml).

Tunnel lining painting West side: 0 (ml). Total 2100/2423(ml) and temporary stop works.

Tunnel lining painting East side: 0 (ml). Total 300/2423(ml) and temporary stop works.

Installation of hand rail: 600 (ml). Total 850/2423(ml)

Evacuation Tunnel Rear Work

Placement side drain: 435 (ml). Total 2435/2435(ml) and completed
