Hai Van tunnel in the Central is under way of construction

The deputy general director of project management board, Nguyen Ngoc Canh released that the project of Hai Van tunnel is under way of construction with drilling of 5,160 meters (up to July 1) over total main tunnel of 6,200 meters, including the whole ventilating lines and 2,400m in the south of the tunnel . In northern part of the tunnel, only a part of 2,760 meters was completed due to discovering some under ground water.

All efforts now are focused on the northern part to drill the remaining part of 1,040 meters. Other jobs on the project are also going under the same pace. The constructing units ensure to reach quality and the speed of the project with 10-12 metres of drilling per day. (VN Economy)
